360 Total Security is a free solution developed by Qihoo to fulfill all the security needs for a desktop computer user. Its features cover Antivirus, malware protection, etc. but also tools to improve the performance of the computer, such as performance enhancer, start up configuration tool, and clean up utility.

Full Check performs a series of actions in the computer in a single process, such as Speedup, Virus Scan, Cleanup and Wifi Security Check. Virus Scan Virus scan provides three different kind of process: Quick, Full and Custom (where the locations to be analysed can be selected by the user).

Speedup feature helps to identify startup non critical programs and background tasks and services that might be slowing down the performance of the system, and allows the user to easily enable or disable them at will. As an additional feature, 360 Total security allows the user to connect the application with Facebook to share the boot up speed records with its friends, and even compare them in a ranking.

Cleanup utility provides is a powerful tool which helps to find and remove junk and temporary files that might be consuming a large space in the hard drive. These tools offer a very high granularity level, allowing the user to decide with a lot of detail which kind of files or space he wants to clean up.

In addition the software includes a Tool Box section with extra tools such as Patch Up utility, Sandbox and a System Backup Cleaner.

360 Total Security active protection uses up to five engines to protect the system, including 360 Cloud Scan Engine, QVMII engine, BitDefender and Avira Antivir engines.
